I just completed a batch of shawl pins for my LYS featuring copper, beads and various charms.  Among my favorites are the ones which feature pendants that were hand-crafted by Candace Wilson of One of a Kind Buttons.   Candace's passion for color and texture is evident in every single piece she creates.  She offers a huge variety of shapes, sizes and colors guaranteed to enchant and delight!

 Made from terracotta or white clay, Candace creates each button from molds forged from her own drawings and fires them twice with 1-3 coats of glaze on them.   
No two buttons/pendants are truly alike.

There's a Half-Full Moon rising!

Half-Full Moon pattern is now live! This has been a fun one to knit (in fact, I have made 3 of them so far)!  Half-Full Moon is a quick little crescent-shaped shawl which sports a pretty lace border.  It packs a whole lot of drape and color into its frame as well!  Shawl can be made up in any weight yarn which will make this an all weather favorite!   See my "Cast On" page for info. on where to find a downloadable copy of this pattern.
