I roughed-out the original idea for this pattern after watching Rush in Rio (amazing!!!) which sparked a renewal in my somewhat obsessive Rush fandom. Red Barchetta has always been my absolute favorite Rush song and so I let it be my inspiration for this piece. This cowl, which is the first pattern in a series, pays homage to the lovely Lupine flowers which grace the Pacific Northwest’s mountain meadows and coastal sands with their beautiful colors. The Mystery Knit-Along is complete and the project has been revealed!
