Under the Influence

As a self-proclaimed yarnaholic, I often fall prey to beautiful yarns.  Most of my friends know about my addiction and chalk it up as one of my “quirks”.  My really good friends join me in my full-on fiber frenzies and introduce me to new yarn shops where new and exciting skeins leap into my bag while my will-power (and my money) desert me completely!

These patterns were born after my dear friend Sharon introduced me to a new stash-builder.  I of course,  went along with the notion that I really “didn’t need any more yarn”, but quickly fell under the influence of this luscious Cashmara yarn, beautifully dyed by Pat, from Fly Designs—and when Sharon suggested that we both should get some —well, it just seemed rude not to!

  1. I'm glad I found this pattern and I hope to be the first to post my hat. I was wondering if you thought a different yarn would be suitable to make the under the influence hat? Thanks

    1. Hi Rosalba,
This pattern works great for most medium or worsted weight yarns. Just be sure to check your gauge so that you end up with a hat that fits perfectly :-)

I'd love to see pictures of your finished pieces, if you have time to post them.

      Best,
      Kelly
