Upside Down / Inside Out

Image
"Upside Down" Jack Johnson Who's to say What's impossible Well they forgot This world keeps spinning And with each new day I can feel a change in everything And as the surface breaks reflections fade But in some ways they remain the same And as my mind begins to spread its wings There's no stopping curiosity I want to turn the whole thing upside down I'll find the things they say just can't be found I'll share this love I find with everyone We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs I don't want this feeling to go away... "No Stopping Curiosity" is a new reversible hat pattern that will be out this week.  Sized to fit Children and Adults, this is a great cap that's loaded with texture--just right for showcasing hand dyed yarns.  It'll have you flipping your lid!

"Collection". A Definition.

Image
My daughter came to me the other day and told me that it was her "Sharing Day" at school next Friday and that she thought she'd share her fairy collection.  Not realizing she had a collection of fairies, I asked her how many she had.  She answered:  "Just the one, but I thought you could make me some."   "Some".......... How many is "Some"?   This is where she informs me that her teacher told her that a "Collection" meant 9 things. NINE!??! Not to worry mom, she said.  You have til next Friday. So, here is the start of her "collection"of "Garden Sprites".  Each one has her own unique personality (with the help of varying clothing and hair colors and facial features). Thankfully they knit up in a flash--so hopefully I can meet the boss' deadline! I really love my daughter ;-) Pattern is available for FREE via Ravelry and Craftsy.  See my "Cast On" page for more info...
