In The Works

New pattern in the works! This beautiful yarn was a gift from a friend (Madelinetosh Merino Light: "Flashdance"). The Shawl is called "From the Vine" and I am currently seeking test-knitters.  If you are interested, please send me a comment and I'll see if we can get you started :-) It is not a difficult knit, but one that requires attention (NOT for TV knitting, I'm afraid).  Basic lace and shaping techniques are used. The yarn of course is amazing to work with--and the color!!  The finished piece turned out better than I had hoped (always a good thing)!  It has a ruffle-like quality which gives it a romantic feel.  I'd love to see it worked up in other color combinations.

A Little Side Note...

"On The Side" Pattern has been tested and approved! This is a simple cap with a bit of interest added to one side and has been in development for some time now as I have been without a computer (which held all the contents of this pattern within it's poor broken brain). Thank you Debbie and Mary for test-knitting this cap for me! And a very special "Thank You" to my beautiful models, Michelle and Izzy.  What a fun photo-shoot!

Back In Business!

My computer has recently had a nervous breakdown.........I guess I was too demanding on the poor old thing!   I have been without a computer, and have been unable to publish patterns for several weeks now (and jotting them down with paper and pencil just isn't cutting it)! Thank God for good friends like Laurie--she gave me her old laptop so that I can get back in action.   Thank you so much Laurie--I had that computer plugged in and have been burning up the keyboard trying to get my patterns typed up immediately after picking it up from you! Here is the first pattern, hot off the presses: Sugar Frost This is a one-skein shawlette that incorporates just a touch of shimmer to keep things interesting!   *Please see my Patterns Page for info on where to purchase this (and many other) patterns ;-)
